Join Us at the 2024 BBAM Festival: A Celebration of Culture, Community, and Sweet Treats!

We are thrilled to announce that Sensational Cakes and Desserts is partnering once again with the Black Business, Arts and Music (BBAM) festival! This vibrant community event, led by Doctor Abdoulie Sanneh and The United Voices of African Associations (TUVAA), will take place at Guildhall Square on Sunday, 28 September.

The BBAM festival is a free celebration of street art, poetry, music, food, fashion, and local businesses, showcasing the rich cultural diversity of Southampton. The event officially opens at 11:00 am with a wreath and flower laying ceremony at the cenotaph, honouring the black soldiers who sacrificed their lives in WW1 and WW2. This solemn tribute will be followed by a military parade from the square to the cenotaph.

At this year’s festival, Sensational Cakes and Desserts is excited to offer our famous, mouth-watering cakes and desserts at discounted prices. Our menu this year includes cupcakes, mini loaf cakes and our BBAM best seller, brownies! Last year, our treats were so popular that we sold out within just two hours! So, make sure to visit us early as we have limited stocks available.
